The Harry Cureton Charitable Trust has been established as a grant
making charitable trust as a result of the generosity of the late
Harry Cureton, who for many years lived at Eye near Peterborough.
The Charity works to support health care in Peterborough and the
area
covered by Peterborough and Stamford hospitals.
The Trustees are looking for
applications to them for grants for the following
activities:
● Relief and treatment of all forms of
physical and mental illness and
rehabilitation from such illness;
● Preservation and promotion of good health and education about
health issues;
● Provision of palliative care in relation
to terminal or chronic conditions; and
● Research into the causes, treatment and
care for of all forms of illness (which
can be undertaken anywhere in the
UK).
Some examples of which include:
● Provision of diagnostic and treatment
facilities and equipment;
● Training of medical and paramedical staff
or provision of facilities and
equipment for training;
● Building work that will increase or
enhance provision for patients;
● Pump priming grants to create medical and
paramedical posts; and
● Health Education that will benefit the
local population.
The Trustees wish to support
both primary and secondary health care. |
