Provision of diagnostic and treatment facilities and equipment
Drs Smith, Jones and Robinson have
identified that there is a need for glaucoma
screening in their semi-rural practice. The practice population
includes a large number
of elderly people who find it difficult to attend City Centre
Optician's Services.
One of the partners has received training in Ophthalmology and
wishes to maintain and
develop skills.
The practice participation group had promised 50% of the funding in
support.
A grant application is made for £2,550, being 50% of the cost
(ex-VAT) of the provision of
a slit lamp and tonometer.
