Procedures for Processing Applications for Grants

Once received, the application will initially be referred to a sub-committee of the trustees
for a decision as to whether the activity is one which the Charity is able to support, in
which case it will be referred to the Trustees for consideration.

Where it is confirmed to you that the Charity will consider your application it may be
necessary to seek additional information. Depending on the amount of the grant applied
for and the purposes for which it is required, you may be asked to provide additional
written information. Alternatively you may be asked to meet one or more of the trustees.

Once sufficient information has been obtained your application will be referred to the
next meeting of the Trustees where grant application are on the agenda for
consideration. At that meeting the Trustees may make a grant, refuse your application or
defer it for further information without the Trustees being required to give reasons for
their decision. In deciding whether or not to make a grant the Trustees will apply the
criteria set out on the reverse side of the Application Form.

You will be informed in writing of the outcome of the meeting.
